Dr. JoAnn Watson is an experienced family practice physician who provides a full range of primary care for patients of all ages—from children to seniors. She practices at Avista Family Medicine Gunbarrel.
Dr. Watson is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency.
She is dedicated to patient education, and works not only to diagnose and treat disease, but to help prevent it as well. "By encouraging fitness, healthy diet and other positive lifestyle choices, I'm able to empower my patients and their families to lead balanced and fulfilling lives," she says.
Her husband, Chris, is also a physician at Avista Family Medicine, and the two have four grown children. Dr. Watson enjoys personal wellness activities and time with family.
