Dr. Watson is a family practice physician who has been treating entire families, from birth to end-of-life, for more than 25 years. He offers a full range of primary care services at our Erie location, and provides pediatric care, men's and women's care and senior care. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice, and a member of the American Academy of Family Practice.

Dr. Watson has a special interest in not only solving complex, health-related challenges and managing disease, but in encouraging general wellness and practical disease prevention. "I take great pride in helping patients and families maximize health through changes in nutrition, fitness and lifestyle," he says.

He received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency. Before joining Avista Family Medicine, Dr. Watson served both as a practicing physician and in medical administration positions in Green Bay, Wis.

He enjoys hiking, biking, personal fitness, reading, cooking and spending time with family. His wife, Jo Ann, is also a family practice physician with Avista Family Medicine in Gunbarrel and South Boulder, and they have four grown children.
